Marathon

The system of the marathon driving consists of a display with mouse and a led-screen of 64 by 192 cm, which is clearly readable. The display with the mouse are used to operate the timekeeping. In this way the IR-sensor of the start and finish line is released, so that the time starts running on the led-screen when the competitor passes the start line. Besides that, the display can be used to enter errors, for example knock downs, that are made by the competitor in the obstacle. After the driver has left the obstacle, the result will be send.

The led-screen gives the time of the competitor in the obstacle. This time is placed into the standings of the obstacle until that moment. The competitor will move down on the screen when he exceeds the time of the next driver in the current standings. He keeps moving down until the driver is at the bottom of the screen. From this moment he will stay on the screen and only the placing will change when he continues to move down in the classification In this way the results of the best competitors will always be visible on the screen when there is a competitor inside the obstacle.
